As lakhs of young aspirants make Sangam city their Home while preparing for different competitive exams, authorities ofSmart CityProject, Prayagraj plan to convert thesmartclass rooms in 19 schools of the city into study centres for them.
The Smart City Project proposed to accommodate the young aspirants in the smart classrooms after school hours at a nominal monthly fee of Rs 300. Presently, these aspirants are coughing out between Rs 800 and Rs 1,500 for such a facility.
The Smart City Mission has converted a total of 295 classrooms in 19 schools of the city into smart classrooms.
As per the proposed plan, the aspirants will be provided with low-cost study centres, wherein all the amenities will be provided that they get by paying hefty amounts to private players in the market. There are around 200 such privately owned study centres in the city.
