MahaRERA is yet to clear 6,191 complaints despite the passage of six years since the implementation of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act in the state.
Though MahaRERA has been working on identifying the lapsed projects, consumers feel the complaints need to be addressed at the earliest by setting up more benches across the state and ensuring more hearings.
Data available on the MahaRERA website showed that the total number of complaints registered was over 19,000 and 12,961 have so far been disposed of.
