Catapulting Hyderabad into the league of country’s few metropolitan cities such as Mumbai, the has come out with fresh guidelines allowing shops, restaurants and other establishments to stay open 24×7 acrossTelangana.
The government has modified opening and closing hour rules to make the shift to 24X7 functioning of restaurants and other establishments.
The Telangana government, hereby, issues guidelines for granting exemption from section 7 (opening and closing hours) of theTelangana Shops and Establishments Act, 1988, to all shops and establishments as defined in section 2(21) for operating 24×7 in the state.”
Hailing the government move, traders, restaurant owners and retailers in the city said this would help them to do business and cater to customers 24×7.
