Shehri Samrdhi Utsav to be held from Oct 22-31

In a move to produce Food Processing entrepreneur in the State, under the DAY-NULM scheme, an exhibition of products made by Women of (SHG)s and street food festival is being organized under Shehri Samridhi Utsav, 2021 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from October 22 to 31.

In this event, it is mandatory for the women of SHGs belonging to all the municipal areas of Jharkhand to take their products to this Shehri Samridhi Utsav Mela to be held in New Delhi.

It is mandatory to have at least 25-50 pieces of all the materials for sale. Goods will be selected

based on the quality of the goods. In this regard, it has been directed by the Directorate of Urban Administration (DMA) that all the interested SHGs women of the urban area of the State will submit their product on October, 16 at the office of Directorate of Urban Administration (DMA) located at Dhurwa, Ranchi.

It may be mentioned here that the State Government has taken steps to brand the skills of women belonging to women SHGs of urban areas to make them self-reliant. Very soon, Gujiya and Pedukia under the brand Son Chiraya will be available in various markets of the State Capital some days earlier.
