Farmers in Chhattisgarhs Mohla Manpur district have experienced a boost in their income by using solar Irrigation pumps and their awareness has resulted in the installation of solar pumps in the village.
The main objective of the solar pump to be set up by the under the Saur Sujala Yojana is to ensure irrigation facilities to the farmers residing at the remote villages in state.
The usage of solar pumps is assisting the state in raising agricultural production, conserving and supplementing groundwater, and enhancing the rural economy.
