Sanskrit medium secondary schools to come up in 10 dists

As part of the Uttar Pradesh governments initiative to promote Education in the state, ten districts will soon get Sanskrit medium secondary schools. Setting up these new intermediate-level Sanskrit schools is among the top priorities of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

At present, there is only one government Sanskrit-medium secondary school and one government Sanskrit degree college operating in Uttar Pradesh. The other such institutions are being run privately. The 10 districts where the new schools are proposed include Varanasi, Rae Bareli, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Moradabad, Shamli, Jalaun, Etah, Amethi, and Hardoi.

In the next phase, the State Government is gearing up to open more such schools in five other districts Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Chitrakoot, and Mathura.
