The has sanctioned Rs 2.45 crore as incentive for 4,082 sanitation workers in all Urban Local Bodies for their outstanding work.
The state government has allowed all five Municipal Corporations, including Shimla, Dharamsala, Mandi, Palampur and Solan, to hire mortuary vans for the next two months (June and July). Its expenditure will be borne from the state disaster relief fund.
