Claiming that government was according top priority for creation of Infrastructure in municipalities in the past few years, municipal administration minister KT Rama Rao said the government had spent 16,000 crore on developmental works in all the 141 municipalities in the last eight years.
He said the governmment was also giving priority for bringing reforms in the administration. “The Centre cannot afford to ignore the development ushered in by the State Government in towns and villages regardless of political affiliations.
The minister said that a comprehensive report will be distributed to all MLAs, MLCs and MPs during the next assembly session and municipal officers to let them know how the state government was trying to develop towns.
