Revenue ministerRamlal Jatsaid told the assembly that as per the decision of the cabinet sub-committee constituted by chief minister, his department has been empowered to regularise land underJDA, ,UITand municipal council areas where the Population has already settled. This provision, though, is not applicable for vacant land.
The minister said there are many conditions related to regularization on restricted lands under List- 4 and this provision will not be applicable to them. He said in sub-rule 13 of theRajasthan Land Revenue(Allotment of Land for Agricultural Purposes) Rules, 1970, there is a provision for the constitution of an allotment advisory committee under the chairmanship of the sub-divisional officer.
