PM Narendra Modi has dedicated to the state the renovated complex of Jallianwala Bagh Smarak in Punjabs Amritsar, to mark 102 years of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
The historical garden is a memorial of countrywide importance, preserved in the memory of infinite revolutionaries, sacrificers, fighters, who had been killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, which befell on the pageant of Baisakhi on 13 April 1919. Apart from this, PM Modi also inaugurated four museum galleries developed at the Smarak, to exhibit the historical fee of activities that unfolded in Punjab in 1919. The PM also introduced multiple improvement initiatives taken with the aid of the authorities to upgrade the complex.
