The commission had immediately taken cognizance of the incident and asked Churu Police regarding a detailed report about the case as well as the measures taken for swift investigation. The child rights body also urged the officials to conduct a swift investigation and present the chargesheet at the earliest in order to ensure that the family gets justice.
