Chief MinisterAshok Gehlot approvedRajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigams (RRVUN) proposals for setting up two units of thermal power projects with 660 MW and 800 MW capacity based on ultra-supercritical technology atChhabraandKalisindhrespectively.
The two units will be part of the Chhabra Thermal Power Project. They will be set up at a cost of Rs 9,606.06 crore. Besides, expanding the Kalisindh Thermal Power Project, a unit of 800 MW will also be set up based on ultra-supercritical technology at a cost of Rs 6054.58 crore.
