Ajmerdiscomhas posted a record profit of Rs 175.72 crore in 2020-21 fiscal. Eleven districts come under the jurisdiction of discom.
The annual general meeting has approved the annual accounts in which the profit is shown by Ajmer discom for the first time. He mentioned that the staff worked even on holidays which shows the better management to bring profit to the company.
The campaign againstelectricity theftlike Hallabol, was initiated, and over 1.12 lakh campuses in 11 districts were investigated. In this, complaints of power theft were found in 81,636 places and the discom imposed penalty of Rs 196.17 crore. Similarly, FIRs were registered against 10,985 cases. The aim was to stop leakage of power in the jurisdiction. The discom was having maximum loss from Nagaur, Jhunjhunu and Banswara district and therefore specific programmes started in these circles to stop leakage of power.
