In a move to revamp and strengthen the party organisation in the State, All India Congress Committee (AICC) former president and Senior Leader, Rahul Gandhi met the State Congress MLAs in the National Capital on Tuesday. After the meeting he said that the of the State will run smoothly only when the party organization is strong in the State.
On a question of 27 per cent reservation for OBCs, Pandey said that it is included in the election manifesto of Congress. Our party will not compromise with the words of its manifesto. We will put pressure on the Government regarding this. Also we will speak through coordination. Whatever promises we have made to the people of Jharkhand, we will definitely fulfill them, he added.
