To provide quality school Education and bring the government schools in sync with the modern times, Punjab Government has decided to provide 4361 tablets to the libraries of 872 Government Senior Secondary Schools in the State.
Five tablets per school are being distributed with a view to make the government schools libraries hi-tech. The department is also installing apps connected with the e-content in the tablets with the directions to the concerned schools to ensure keeping of e-content operational, said the state School Education Minister Pargat Singh on Wednesday.
The Minister said that instructions have issued to all the District Education Officers (DEOs), Secondary Education, with regard to the procurement as well as the distribution of the tablets at the district level.
