Promote horticulture crops in Chhattisgarh: Minister

Choubey was addressing the inauguration of the new office of the Board at the Indira Gandhi Agricultural University Campus at Labhandi (Jora).

Board Chairman Ramkumar Patel and members Dukhvaram Patel, Anurag Patel, Hari Patel and Pawan Patel were present.

The Minister said: Chherchera Shakambhari Jayanti has a special importance in local life in the state. It is a festival of giving, charity and social harmony. It eliminates the difference between big and small.

“Maa Shakambhari is adorned with vegetables and worshiped. It is the reason that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has declared a holiday on this occasion.”
