Primary Forest Societies to procure minor millets

The Primary Forest Produce under the Chhattisgarh State Minor Produce Cooperative Federation Ltd will procure the kodo, kutki and ragi (minor Millets) from farmers on support price across the state.

The Cabinet took the decision on February 25, 2021.

2021 to make the state a millet hub in the country.

To facilitate the tribal farmers in other districts, the extended benefit of procurement on government support price of the minor millets has been handed over to the Primary Forest Produce Cooperative Society.
