Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while praising the Institutional Delivery System in Mewat (Nuh) district of Haryana, said that when this district was included in the list of Aspirational Districts in 2018, the rate of Institutional Delivery was 50.61 percent and through the continuous efforts of the , it has increased to 92.2 percent which is a matter of pride for the state government and the administration.
Modi, on Saturday, took the review meeting of the Aspirational District Programme in which Chief Ministers of various states, Lieutenant Governors, Secretaries of various Ministries, State Ministers and
District Commissioners directly interacted with the Prime Minister through video conferencing.
Aspirational District Programme was implemented to develop better Health and Nutrition, Education, Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture and Resources“>Water Resources, Financial Inclusion, Skill development and other basic facilities for the citizens so that all round development of selected districts can be achieved.
The PM also praised the government for working to give global identity to the district Nuh of the State and vision of promoting One District-One Product scheme based on the speciality of each district.
