Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that January 4 will be written in golden letters for the welfare of the poor. Plots will be provided free of cost to such poor brothers and sisters who do not have a place to live. Under the Mukhya Mantri Bhu-Awasiya Adhikar Yojana, plots worth Rs. 120 crore will be distributed to 10 thousand 500 families of Tikamgarh district on January 4.
Chouhan said this in his address before the meeting of the Council of Ministers. The meeting of the Council of Ministers at the Mantralaya under the chairmanship of Chouhan started with recitation of Vande-Mataram.
Chouhan told that during his stay in Tikamgarh, the people there had told the problem that 50-60 people are forced to live in each house, there is no place to stay at Home. The reason for this problem is that the families have grown but the place of residence has remained the same. Due to POVERTY, extended families do not even have plots or land. As a result, they cannot even get the benefit of the house construction scheme.
Chouhan said that this is a wonderful scheme in itself. Under the scheme, the lease of the land will be in the name of husband and wife. They will not have to pay any premium, they will get the land completely free of cost and along with the plot they will also get the benefits of other schemes. Chouhan said that plots will be made available to such poor brothers and sisters in rural areas in every district.
