The plans to train 1 lakh youths by setting up a Skill development Centre (SDC) in each of the 352 gram panchayat samitis.
If each one panchayat samiti trains 200-300 youths, the target of providing training to 1 lakh youths can be easily achieved, he said. RSLDC has already trained around 4 lakh students and interns and out of this, more than 2 lakh have been placed in the Industry.
