As many as 41330 applications have been submitted for admission to 80 CBSE affiliated schools started by the , which is 345 per cent more than the total seats of 11986. It may be noted that the last date for submission of application was fixed till May 25.
Maximum 4,241 applications have been received from Deoghar for enrollment in Schools of Excellence. After this, 3,524 applications have been received from Palamu, 2,766 from Ranchi, 2,637 from Lohardaga, 2,391 from Chatra, 1,996 from East Singhbhum, 1,929 from Seraikela Kharsawan, and 1,859 from Hazaribagh.
In view of the demand of parents, the deadline for submission of applications in Schools of Excellence was extended till May 25, 2023. Now the selection test will be organized on May 30, publication of the first merit list on June 7 and enrollment will start from June 12 according to the merit list.
