Online slot booking has been made mandatory for land registration in Odisha.
As per the notification, if no prior appointment through online booking of slot has been taken, and the citizen has applied in writing with justification for not being able to do so, to the Registering Officer, for acceptance of the Document for Registration on demand, then on acceptance of the reasons by the Registering Officer and subject to availability of any time slot on that day be termed as Tatkal.
