Chhattisgarh’s seven government healthcare institutions on Friday received certificate of appreciation, National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS), from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
These certificates have been given to two of the district hospitals, two Primary Health Centers (PHCs) and three Urban Primary Health Centers in the state.
Similarly, the Kondagaon District Hospital got LaQshya certification for excellent facilities of maternity room and operation theatre for pregnant Women.
The National Quality Assurance Standards are broadly arranged under eight “Areas of Concern” Service Provision, Patient Rights, Inputs, Support Services, Clinical Care, Infection Control, Quality Management and Outcome.
These standards are ISQUA accredited and meet global benchmarks in terms of comprehensiveness, Objectivity, evidence and rigour of development.
