NOU inks pact with Patna University

In a significant development, Open University (NOU), the only university of the state imparting higher Education through distance mode, on Monday signed an MoU withPatna Universitywith a view to promoting quality education and research.
The MoU was signed by the registrars of both the universities in the presence of Nalanda Open University vice-chancellor K C Sinha and PU vice-chancellor GirishKumar Chaudhary

Giving details of the MoU, the NOU VC said that his university

has already signed MoU with a number of other reputed institutions inside and outside the state, including Patliputra University, Maulana Mazhar-ul Haq Arabic andPersian Universityand Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna. It is also set to sign an MoU with IIT Patna this week in order to expand its academic horizon.
