The union minister for , Shipping & Waterways, and AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated Nikarshan Sadan Dredging Museum.

The Nikarshan Sadan Museum is made by Dredging Corporation of India, at the DCI campus in Visakhapatnam.
The museum displayed models of various sorts of dredgers, historical milestones, and vintage photos of this dredging behemoth from the Eastern Port of Vizag City.

While addressing the DCI employees, the minister noted that the Dredging Corporation of India may be a vital organization in Maritime Sector.
He noted that each one of the workers will need to work together as a team because the expectation is high.
Dredging is extremely significant for the existence of the port and strengthening Indias economy.
