The team of National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) reached Lohardaga, under the chairmanship of Anant Nayak, Member, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes, an important meeting with Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police and other district level officials was held in the collectorate hall.
At the beginning of the meeting, Alka Tiwari, Secretary, NCST gave detailed information about the constitution of the commission, functions, rights, advice/suggestions given by the commission in the policy making of the state/central government, etc. to the district officials.
