Nagaland in the process of drafting film policy

The Nagaland government is in the process of drafting the Nagaland film policy to set up the Nagaland state film development Society/board, said state information and public relations (IPR) director Tokishe Sema. The society or the board will comprise several members, including film lovers, makers and directors, he added.

Stating that Nagaland is blessed with beautiful landscapes and scenic beauty in addition to its rich traditions and cultures of 16 tribes, Sema said the colours of the state can be tapped and explored in different Art Forms of cinema. He hoped for better funding from the for promotion of films in the state.
