TheOverseas Scholarshipprogramme of theKarnataka Christian Development Council(KCDC) will be resumed soon, with the addition of more foreign universities, for the benefit of students and the community.
The Overseas Scholarship scheme for students pursuing higher studies in foreign countries, provided Rs 10 lakh per year, and up to Rs 20 lakh for two years. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the scheme was transferred to the directorate of minorities. The KCDC has requested the chief minister to transfer the scheme back to the KCDC, he said, adding that the scheme will be resumed through the KCDC soon.
