As many as 1100 applications have been received for the franchisee of Har-Hith stores, out of which 95 per cent applications have been found eligible under the franchisee policy. The scheme to open these stores was launched on August 2, said Rohit Yadav, Managing Director, Haryana Agro Industries Corporation Limited (HAICL).
He said that 80 percent of the site surveys of the eligible applicants have been made and after the store site survey, the sites which are ready for setting up of shops have been allotted. Others have been asked to make some basic improvements to the site.
He said that from September 1, out of the sites which are ready to be set up for shops 300 sites have been allotted, while the allotment process for the rest of the sites is underway. Along with this, 100 agreements have been made under the franchisee policy of the scheme.
With this, the stores fitout and interior work will be completed at the earliest by the vendor on behalf of Haryana-Agro within a week, he said.
