Indian researchers designed a sturdy, mobile integrated Oxygen concentrator named “OxyJani”.
The team behind OxyJani: Researchers at the Jawaharlal Nehru Advanced Scientific Research Center, an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Science and Technology
of the Government of IndiaAbout OxyJani:
OxyJani is based on the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology principles.
The researchers switched from lithium zeolite (LiX), which is commonly used in oxygen generators, to sodium zeolite, which does not generate toxic solid waste and can be manufactured in India.
