The Average wage under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural EMPLOYMENT Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) has touched an all-time high of Rs 190.89 (per day per person) in the state, data received fromNREGAportal stated.
In 2021-22, the average wage rate inRajasthanwas Rs 182.62; in 2020-21, it was Rs 169.51; Rs 144.87 in 2019-20 and Rs 137.24 in 2018-19.
A labour budget of 24 crore was sanctioned for the financial year 2022-23. So far, 7.57 crore persondays have been generated in the state.
