undreds ofMES(MaharashtraEkikaran Samiti) activists gathered atRani Channamma Circlehere and marched to the deputy commissioner office for a protest on Monday.
They demanded that the government issue documents inMarathi. They raised slogans sand said if the is unable to take care of them, it must allow them to go to Maharashtra.
The activists gave a memorandum to the deputy commissioner, which said getting government documents in Marathi was their fundamental right as per Linguistic Minorities Act.
