As the state Health Services in Maharashtra were hit hard during the Covid pandemic due to shortage of medical and senior officials, the state cabinet on Wednesday gave post-facto sanction to the proposal to increase the retirement age of medical officers and those above them by two years, from 60 to 62 years.
The decision will apply to those working under the state health service directorate and Employees State Insurance Scheme ( Subscribe on YouTube
