Madhya Pradesh government plans food processing units to help garlic farmers

The , after reporting huge loss ofgarliccrops, is emphasizing on setting up micro Food Processing units to minimize wastage, along with helping the farmers get right price of their agricultural produce and generating more EMPLOYMENT.

Around 10,000 farmers of Indore had sown garlic crops in around 15,000 hectare areas but failed to get desired return of the same as it was also a case across the state.

The state government is emphasizing on different steps to minimize the crop damage and loss to the farmers by adopting aforesaid steps.Under PMFMEscheme, we urging progressive farmers of the district to install micro food processing units while they are also being educated about grading of the yield to get the price along with storing it in cold storage as there is subsidy on it as well.
