With around 94% of eligible Population getting at least one dose ofCovid-19 vaccine,Madhya Pradeshis at the top of chart among the ten most-populated states of the country. Overall, around 4.78 crore people have taken the first dose against the estimated eligible population of around 5.5 crore. Around 70 lakh people are yet to be vaccinated. Officials attribute this to several factors, including vaccine hesitancy and inaccuracy of population projections.
On the causes behind around 70 lakh people yet to get any dose of vaccine, Suleman said, There could be three reasons: population projections may not be correct as they are more than the voter list.
