Leucodermais prevalent in 4% of Indian Population, while in Nadu, around 37 lakh people have leucoderma, district president ofTamil Nadu Science Forum(TNSF), M Rajesh has said.
An awareness campaign on breaking the stigma surrounding leucoderma or vitiligo was held.
The programme was held at the Government Higher Secondary School,Thirupparankundramand CEOA Higher Secondary School, jointly organized by theTamil NaduScience Forum (TNSF), Exnora International, and Leucoderma Awareness Movement – India.
