The NEP includes a common exam for Classes 3, 5, and 8 and we are opposing it as it may lead to dropouts,” he said, adding that entrance tests for all undergraduate programmes are also not acceptable.
Highlighting the budget announcements including upgrading polytechnic colleges, using factories as Skill development centres and training institute for advanced technology at Ambattur at a cost of 120 crore, the minister said that it shows how keen the chief minister is on improving the EMPLOYMENT opportunities of students.
