This is a proposed elephant sanctuary in Chhattisgarh. Lemru is one of two elephant sanctuaries planned to prevent human-animal conflicts in the area. Elephants moved from Odisha and Jharkhand to Chhattisgarh. The proposed area under the reserve is part of the Hasdeo Aranya Forest, which is a very diverse biological area and also rich in coal.
