Health minister Banna Gupta announced that the would soon constitute a welfare board for the members of transgender community and also bring in a separate law which ensures their protection.
“The government is trying to support the people. In order to support these people, ration cards have been given to 5,000 HIV-positive people and 2,000 transgenders.
