The has decided to appoint HISTORY/civics teachers at government schools in non-scheduled districts after The Supreme Court gave green Light on the matter.
The personnel and the Administrative Reforms department issued a letter to the secretary of schooleducationand Literacy department communicating the same. Education secretary Rajesh Sharma said with this decision, around 650 teachers are likely to be appointed in non-scheduled districts (those not notified under 5th Schedule). He added, The education department is working towards making large-scale appointment ofteacher.
