Jharkhand: First Sanskrit school in East Singhbhum named after Dr APJ Abdul Kalam

A Muslim-owned organisation named Abdul Hanan Memorial Educational, Welfare and Charitable Society, (AHMEWCS) here will open the first Sanskritschoolin the district next month on the occasion of Teachers Day.

TheJharkhand Academic Council(JAC)-affiliatedSanskritschool, which is named after former President of India, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, will conduct primary and secondary classes.

AHMEWCS has been running two schools — APJ Abdul Kalam High School and APJ Abdul KalamInter College– since 2008 and a total of 2,000 students are enrolled in the two schools.
