The State is moving fast in providing medical facilities to cardiac patients. Sarkar further said that criteria of CSI to see which chapter has done well is academic works, research, social work and spread of public awareness. The States Chapter worked excellently in all these criteria and emerged as best in all these fields. A total of 11 publications of research were submitted which is very important in itself, it means every month one publication research was submitted. They also judged the State on how much it is showing progress every year, he added.

Jharkhand performed very well in providing cardiac related treatments during last few years and at same time the is also improving rapidly. Earlier 70 to 80 per cent of cases of cardiac arrest used to be referred to other states like Vellore and Delhi and others, but this practice has reduced.

In coming two to three years State will touch many milestones in this direction and emerge as one of best medical facility providers in cardiology, said Sarkar.
