In view of a sudden spike in Covid-19 cases and deaths, 80 percent of the total oxygen produced in Chhattisgarh will be supplied for medical purposes to hospitals in the state, it was announced on Sunday.

A notification to this effect has been issued by the Health Department under the Epidemic Diseases Act following a directive of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
