In order to improve the health and nutritional status of the State, the Department of Rural Development, Government of Jharkhand on Tuesday launched the JASHN Project, which stands for a Joint Action for Sustainable Health. Rural Development Secretary, Dr Manish Ranjan launched the project online.

There is a need to work on many parameters like Health, Nutrition in the State to improve health facilities. He said that there is hope the JASHN project will be successful to improve healthcare facility in the State and programmes like Jashn will be very useful in the State because of the large numbers of people affected with Malnutrition and anaemia.
