Indian Institute Of Management, Indore (IIM-I) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Harda District Administration to contribute to overall development as a model district.
IIM-I is determined to contribute to nation-building and this association with Harda district administration is yet another step by the institute to improve the districts economy, market, and lifestyle.
This collaboration will also help in increasing export of bamboo under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative. IIM-I has already contributed inODOPinitiative at five districts ofUttar Pradeshand they plan to design Marketing and branding strategy for the local market in Harda too.
Their focus will be on rejuvenating tourism in the area by boosting village tourism, eco-tourism, camping, and natural treks. Furthermore, IIM-I also plans to promote farmer producer organisations and other government schemes in the area.
