According to a recent survey, more than 55 percent of children in Jharkhand did not receive Supplementary Nutrition under the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) even once during the first six months of 2021.
Highlights:
According to the National Family Health Survey-4 data, every second child in the state is stunted and underweight, every third child are stunted, every 10 children are severely wasting, and about 70% of children are anemic.
