Himachal Pradeshis set to have 13 ropeway projects in different parts of the state that would not only revolutionise the transportation system of the hill state but would also boost tourism activities.
The proposed 13 ropeway projects have a total length of 111.65 km with an estimated cost of Rs 5,644 crore.
Union ministerNitin Gadkarihad recently tweeted about these new ropeway projects proposed for Himachal Pradesh. He claimed that construction of these ropeway projects would not only make the travelling easier in the hilly terrains but would also ensure arrival of tourists in all seasons.
He said that proposed ropeways would also cut short the travel time and distance by making travelling easier and safer. He said that new ropeway projects will create EMPLOYMENT opportunities.
