HC seeks update on wetlands across U’khand

TheUttarakhandhigh court (HC), in response to a PIL concerning Sukha Tal in Nainital, which has witnessed numerous unauthorised constructions despite being a wetland, has directed the government to provide a comprehensive status report on allwetlandsin the state within four weeks.
Furthermore, the HC has ordered the court commission to submit its report within two

weeks, assessing whether the administration has taken any action in compliance with the previous order regarding Sukha Tal.
