Year 2022 was full of achievements and crime control along with Naxal activities in the district. The district Police has lodged 4393 cases in the year and arrested 1801 accused. With the extreme efforts of the police, 16 accused were convicted to life imprisonment. This was stated by the Superintendent of Police Manoj Rattan Chothey in a press conference in the seminar hall. He said the district police tried to control the crime and other illegal activities in the year.
He further said that we have decided to check crime and Naxal activities in the district next year. We have prepared the master plan to implement next year. SP said that we have registered 4393 cases in the different police stations of the district and arrested 1801 persons in relation to different cases. He said Average three persons were arrested in the district.
He further said that we have registered 19 cases of Naxal activities and arrested 31 hard-core naxalities and criminal. The police has arrested 13 members of TPC, 1 MCC, 8 JJMP and 9 gangsters in this year. We have recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunitions including two INSAS, 2 carbine, and 6 rifles which was looted from the police during the different incident.
