Haryana to create databank of drug peddlers

Haryana will soon have a databank of drug peddlers as the state Control Bureau (NCB) has started the process to prepare it with the help of Software HAWK. It would only be used by Police authorities, said an official.

The names of drug peddlers with their photographs, mobile numbers, details of their bank accounts, social accounts, vehicles, relatives and property would be just a click away.

route of the delivery. The phone call details of the accused would also be available on it.

Soon after the arrest of the accused, the district police will upload the photograph, video and other details of the accused with the help of the software designed by the NCB. The district police have to fill a detailed interrogation form designed by the NCB, especially for this purpose.
